ONE MILLION
DOLLAR COMPANY.

WORK 36 / SAME DIRECTION / MAKE A PAIR

Different walls.
Your directions.

Give Nia and Sol two rooms. Then send them one command at a time.

The company keeps its six pairs. These two rooms are yours to revise.

Keep one rule in common.

One direction tries to move both people one cell. Walls and room edges stop them independently. Seats are ordinary floor: arriving early does not hold anyone there. Both people must reach their seats at the same instant.

Each room can have 3–7 rows and columns. A start may share its seat. Walls cannot cover either marker; put a marker on floor. Impossible pairs are allowed. Check asks whether a shared sequence exists, without revealing one.

Lay out both rooms.

LAYOUT / YOUR PAIR
Choose a cell and a job.

Use these coordinates, or press a cell in either room to apply the chosen tool directly. A hatched # is a wall. Circle N and square S mark the starts; dashed SEAT marks the destination.

Room size.

Overlapping cells stay where they are. New cells are floor. A resize that cuts off a start or seat is refused.

Start from a company pair.

This replaces both rooms. You can undo it. The six company puzzles keep their original layouts.

Nia’s room

ROUND N / 5 × 5
Start
row 2, column 2
Seat
row 4, column 4

Sol’s room

SQUARE S / 5 × 5
Start
row 2, column 2
Seat
row 4, column 4

Rows run down; columns run across. Clear cells are floor. A start can also be a seat. The two people are in separate rooms.

Undo keeps the last 100 whole-layout changes, including templates and opened challenges. Changing a tool or coordinate spends no history. Testing captures this layout and keeps the editor history.

The first company pair is on the layout desk. Change either room, then check or test it.

A fresh pair for someone else.

A challenge link carries only the rooms, starts and seats. It carries no test positions, moves, Undo history or completion. Its reader reviews the pair before opening it.
