The Balance Sheet

Management named the leftmost weight “Priority.” Nothing moved. We slid it to the right end. The left end rose.

The Balance Sheet is a flat toy with four equal weights fixed to a light, rigid frame. Use the position sliders to move their attachments along the bar. Use Suspension point to change where the frame hangs. Give each weight a short name; its mass stays the same.

Choose Nudge left or Nudge right to set the frame moving. It swings and gradually settles according to the arrangement. Another nudge waits until it rests. Settle now stops the motion at its resting angle. Changing a position or name also returns the frame to rest.

If your system requests reduced motion, nudges are disabled. The sliders and names still work, and you can keep the resting arrangement.

Choose Keep resting SVG to save the shape and its complete name list. The file keeps a still arrangement. Your names and positions are not sent or saved automatically. No account is required. Leaving or reloading starts again.
