WORK 67 / A COMPANY COMIC

The Endorsement.

A personal touch.

An original fictional comic in four silent panels.

  1. InkingAt an office desk, Management wears the familiar dark suit and bright green tie. The right hand presses one plain handled rubber stamp into the far half of an open blue ink pad. Exactly three left fingertips steady the near inked surface rather than its rim; blue ink is visible on those three ends. Their palm stays raised. A colleague in a muted blue sweater waits beside one clean cream sheet, holding its right edge. Both people and the connected wrists are visible.01
  2. In positionThe same three blue-tipped left fingers now steady the left margin of the same sheet. Management holds the same inked stamp above the right side with the right hand. The same open pad remains on the left of the desk. The colleague holds only the clean right edge. The three fingertips have moved together; there is still only one sheet.02
  3. OfficialA quiet still at the same desk. Management presses the same stamp onto the sheet while exactly the same three left fingertips remain planted on its left margin. The colleague looks towards the contact and keeps hold of the clean right edge. Both contacts are visible; no mark has yet been revealed beneath either hand.03
  4. A personal touchManagement has lifted both hands, still holding the same stamp in the right. Exactly three broad blue fingertip marks lie on the sheet’s left margin, matching the number and positions of the preceding fingers. One small neat blue circular seal is visible on the right. The same three finger ends remain blue above the page; there is no palm print. The colleague holds the sheet by its clean right edge. The open pad and the desk remain in place.04
