WORK 85 / YOU AND COMPUTER B.

Taking
sides.

A line can pass the turn.
A box can keep it.

Play a quiet game against Computer B. You are A and start. Close a box to keep your turn; B replies automatically when the turn passes. Two people? Open the shared board ↗ (new tab)

SIXTEEN DOTS / NINE BOXES

Draw the line.

0 / 24 lines

Choose a missing line between neighbouring dots. Lines go across or down. A line’s letter records who drew it; a box’s letter records who closed it. Tab reaches each line; Enter or Space draws it.

TAKE YOUR TURN

Your turn. Draw a line.

YOU / A0boxes
COMPUTER B0boxes
Close a box. Keep the turn.

The player who adds a box’s last missing side claims it and draws again. One line can close two boxes. If no new box closes, the other player draws next.

Getting the solo board ready…

Undo takes back your last line and every Computer B reply that followed it, including their points. Restart clears this solo board as one undoable change.

THE WHOLE GAME

A line for you.
A reply from B.

Every small box needs four sides. Only its final side decides who claims it, regardless of who drew the first three. A completed box is worth one point. Keep taking another turn while you keep completing boxes.

Play continues until all 24 lines are used and all nine boxes are claimed. The player with more boxes wins. There is no passing or timer. Computer B takes every extra turn it earns before you draw again.

This solo game stays on this device for this visit. It does not save automatically; reloading returns to an empty board with you to start. The most recent 100 decisions, including Restart, stay available to Undo. Try a different line after Undo and compare where it leads.
