THE SMALL ARCHIVE / TWO SOUNDS TOGETHER

A little
overlap.

Keep a little of each.
Hear them at the same time.

Trim two recordings and put one passage over the other. Source A begins at zero. Choose when B joins it and how much each contributes.

1. Choose two sources

LOCAL PCM WAV / UP TO 750,000 BYTES EACH

Choose recordings you own. Both must have the same sample rate, mono or stereo channels, and 8-bit or 16-bit depth. Sources stay here when the other slot is replaced or refused.

Source A

No recording here yet.

Source B

No recording here yet.

2. Make room for both

SECONDS / ROUNDED TO THE NEAREST FRAME
Passage A
Passage B

Choose a nonempty passage from each source. B must begin before A ends, so at least one frame overlaps. Contributions are whole percentages from 0 to 100, with a combined total from 1 to 100; 50 + 50 is the starting point.

Outside a passage, that source contributes silence. The finished tape keeps the original sample rate, channels and bit depth. No automatic resampling or loudness adjustment.
