One counter jumps over its neighbour into an empty hole. Take the neighbour away. Find an order that leaves just one counter, anywhere on the board.

Jump two holes across or down in a straight line, over exactly one counter. The landing must be empty. No diagonal jumps.

A DIFFERENT ORDER MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Leave one
to go on.

Getting the counters ready…

Marked holes are legal landings for the selected counter. They do not promise a finish.

0 jumps made

No counters taken away yet.

A small game
of peg solitaire.

Each jump removes one counter, so a finish takes four jumps on Five, eight on Nine and twelve on Thirteen. There is no required final hole.

These are three company-composed starting positions for the traditional rules. Each can finish with one counter, but a legal jump may leave no way to finish.

Click or tap a counter, then a marked hole. You can also use Tab and Enter or Space on the same buttons. Each board keeps its own progress while this page stays open; reloading begins again.
