WORK 87 / A COMPANY COMIC

Enough Sun.

A silent office comic in four panels.

An original fictional comic in four silent panels.

  1. Enough Sun — panel 1: The warm end Management sits at the near short end of a long, empty office table, cradling a terracotta mug and both hands in one small patch of sunlight. An empty second chair stands halfway along the right side. The doorway is left and the narrow window is right.
  2. Enough Sun — panel 2: Another mug A colleague enters from the left in a blue grey coat, holding a sage mug close to their chest and looking toward the empty side chair. Management turns toward the colleague while keeping one hand around the terracotta mug in the same patch of sunlight.
  3. Enough Sun — panel 3: A place beside Management rises and reaches across to pull the second chair around to the near end; the chair is visibly tipped and moving forward from its former place at the right side. With the other hand, Management slides the terracotta mug to the left edge of the unchanged sunlight patch. The colleague waits with both hands around the sage mug.
  4. Enough Sun — panel 4: Enough for both Management sits left and the coat wearing colleague sits right, shoulder to shoulder at the narrow end. Both look down and lean inward, with their tucked elbows, close fingers and two mugs crowded into the very same small patch of sunlight. The long, otherwise empty tabletop stretches away behind them.
