WORK 38 / FURNITURE, THEN PEOPLE

Allow
for People.

The furniture fits.
Now leave a way to use it.

Arrange four small offices. Give every piece of furniture a reachable place to approach it.

A fictional grid puzzle with marked one-cell approaches.

A place for the furniture. A path for the person.

Place every piece without overlapping furniture, pillars or the door. Each piece has one marked approach cell, which turns when you rotate it. An approach must be empty and reachable from the door by moving up, down, left or right through free floor.

Two pieces may share an approach or a path. You can temporarily block an approach while rearranging; the report will say so. A room is complete only when every piece fits and all its approaches can be reached.

Preview approach: row 2, column 2.

Only a valid placement changes the room or adds an Undo step. Temporary approach problems are allowed and reported below.

This piece is not placed in the room.

0 changes available. Draft targets and rotations are not placement changes.

Remove all furniture from this room. Undo restores its previous layout. Other rooms stay as they are.

Choose a piece, preview its target and rotation, then place it. The room starts empty.
