WORK 82 / YOUR CONNECTIONS

Make a
tangle.

Choose the connections.
Find another arrangement.

Draw a network between six letters. Check that it can be untangled on this board, then try it in a separate test or pass its starting link.

01 / CHOOSE CONNECTIONS

Your starting diagram

0 connections
ABCDEF

Choose connections using the fifteen labelled buttons. The six letters stay in their starting places while you draw. Lines meeting at a shared letter are allowed.

Connection In a crossing pair

DRAW / ALL FIFTEEN PAIRS

Which letters are connected?

0crossing pairs

This counts pairs of connections, not places on the page. Several pairs can cross at one place.

Toggle a connection

Your starting diagram is already clear. Add a crossing connection to make a puzzle.

Getting the maker ready…

Crossing pairs

No crossing pairs.

Pass the connections

Prepare a link from your drawing, then select and copy it. The link keeps the connections and opens the letters in their original places. Later edits do not follow it.

No test arrangement, selection or history travels in the link. It opens a review before any test is replaced. The site is needed to play.

RECEIVE / REVIEW BEFORE USING

Someone else’s connections.

Use opens the received graph as a test. A different graph replaces this custom test only; your own drawing and its history stay here. The same graph keeps your current test progress.

ONE SMALL BOARD

These six places.
Your own links.

The check asks whether any arrangement of these six letters on these six stations has no crossing pairs. It says nothing about other ways of drawing the graph, or how difficult a person will find it.

Drawing Undo restores connections. Test Undo restores arrangements and clears a pending selection. Restart returns a changed test to its starting arrangement as one undoable change. Each history keeps its most recent 100 changes.

Return drops the separate test and restores your own drawing and its history. Nothing saves automatically. Reloading begins a blank drawing; a starting link only stages the received diagram for review.
