WORK 82 / SIX PLACES. EVERY CONNECTION.

A clear
line.

Keep the connections.
Lose the crossings.

Swap two letters. Their connections move with them. Find an arrangement where no two lines cross, without removing a single connection.

Make your own tangle ↗. Choose connections and pass a checked starting diagram.

DIAGRAM 01

One chain

5 fixed connections

Choose one letter, then a different letter to swap their stations. Choose the same letter again to cancel. All six places stay occupied; lines meeting at their shared letter are allowed.

arrangement.

1crossing pair

This counts pairs of connections, not places on the page. Several pairs can cross at one place.

Choose a letter.

Then choose another to exchange their places.

THE WHOLE IDEA

Same links.
New places.

Only the letters move. A connection always stays between the same two letters. Dashed coral lines belong to at least one crossing pair; the notebook names every pair.

Undo returns to the previous arrangement and clears a selection. When the arrangement has changed, Restart returns this diagram to its start as one undoable change. Selecting and cancelling never use an Undo step. The most recent 100 arrangement changes are kept for each diagram.

All three diagrams keep independent progress during this visit. Switching diagrams clears a pending selection. Reloading the page starts all three again.
