Panel 01 · The parcel
Management stands at a packing table in a black jacket and bright green tie. An open brown parcel is on the left. Management places a small cream bowl with one coral stripe beside it. To the right lies a sheet of bubble wrap with seven columns and five rows of plump cells. The other hand hovers over a corner bubble.
Panel 02 · The small pleasure
The same bowl and open parcel wait on the table. Management holds the left edge of the same wrap with one hand and presses a cell with the other. A broad patch of shallow, creased cells spreads across the left side; the cells on the right and lower edge remain round and plump.
Panel 03 · The thin layer
The same coral-striped bowl rests on a thin sheet of nearly flat bubble wrap on the right side of the packing table. Its foot touches the wrap. Management, still wearing the black jacket and bright green tie, pinches the loose edges up on either side of the bowl; the creased material hangs limply between the hands and the table. The open parcel on the left is empty. Only the far lower-right corner cell of the wrap remains plump.
Panel 04 · The padding
The same bowl is nested in the parcel on Management’s black jacket, whose pale lapel edges, two buttons and folded sleeve remain visible around it. Management now wears a white shirt and the same bright green tie. One hand holds the nearly flat sheet of wrap; the other thumb and finger are poised above its single remaining plump corner bubble.
