WORK 80 / THREE FOUR-BY-FOUR PUZZLES

The last
light.

One switch.
A few consequences.

Turn every light off. Each square changes itself and its immediate neighbours. Three company-authored starts using a familiar cross-toggle rule.

A diagonal

4 rows × 4 columns

Press a square to flip it and the squares immediately above, below, left and right. Diagonals stay as they are. Nothing wraps round an edge.

Leave it dark

Every light
counts.

4 on12 off

Restart is one change that can be undone. Each board keeps its own lights and Undo history during this visit.

Try a dark square too.

A switch works whether its own light is on or off. Sometimes a light has to come back on before everything can go dark.

Pressing the same square twice reverses its effects. The aim is simply all sixteen off; there is no timer or required move count.

Use Tab to reach a switch, then Enter or Space to press it.
