A check means that line’s current ink runs match its clues. It does not prove the squares are in the right places until the crossing lines agree too.

Your next mark

Ink.

Choose a mark, then choose a square

Ink fills a square. Mark empty adds an optional cross for your notes. Clear removes either mark. Choosing the same mark again leaves the square as it is.

Restart is one change that can be undone. Switch boards whenever you like; each keeps its own marks and Undo history during this visit.

Reading the numbers

Each number is one unbroken run of ink. Read row clues from left to right and column clues from top to bottom, in the order shown.

Leave at least one empty square between runs. A clue of 0 means that whole line has no ink. Blank squares and empty crosses both count as gaps.

Finish when every row and every column has exactly its listed runs. You do not have to mark every empty square.

Keep blank puzzle sheet (SVG). All three puzzles, with their clues. The sheet starts blank. Open the file to print, choosing paper size and scaling in your print options.
