REGISTRATION REQUIRED / DRAWN STENCILS
Make room
for colour.
Three plates. Your shapes.
Something happens where they meet.
Draw ink shapes and openings, give each plate its own words, then choose the inks and paper that bring them together.
Three versions of a room are on the press. Change the shapes, choose inks and paper, or begin with empty plates.
Choose the inks. Choose the paper.
Keep the company colours, or choose three digital inks and a paper colour. Your shapes, words, openings and registration stay together.

Chosen inks multiply their RGB values with the paper to make the overlaps. This is a digital colour experiment; it does not predict pigments, ink coverage or a physical printing press.
Together on paper
Combined uses the visible plates and seven fixed company colour combinations. Outlines and point numbers are editor guides; the kept SVG contains the clean print.
The room
An ink shape on the blue plate. Revise its name, operation and points, or move the complete shape.
Move the whole shape
Moves stop if any point would leave the plate. No point is squeezed back to an edge.
Reflect the selected shape
Reflection stays inside this shape’s own bounds, keeping its size and placement. Only this ink shape or opening changes. Symmetric outlines stay unchanged, including their points and any ready copy. Undo and Redo restore the whole print and colours, then select the first shape on the restored plate.
Turn the selected shape
The shape’s top-left corner stays fixed; its width and height swap. A turn stops if any point would leave the plate. Only this ink shape or opening changes. A symmetric outline stays unchanged, including its points and any prepared file. Each applied turn is one Undo step.
Copy this shape to another plate
Give another plate its own occurrence of “The room”, keeping its name, ink shape role and ordered points. Your source and existing destination artwork stay.
A copy needs one free place on its destination plate. Points stay in plate-local coordinates; each plate keeps its registration offset, so the impressions may not line up. An opening cuts all ink and enabled words beneath it on the destination plate.
Resize this plate’s artwork
Change all drawn ink shapes and openings together. Their shared top-left corner stays fixed; the words and registration stay where they are.
Half size needs exact whole-number points. Double size stops if any point leaves the plate. Openings still cut through the plate’s ink and enabled words; review both proofs before applying.
Names, words and registration
Use 2 lines at most, 12 characters per line, A–Z, 0–9, spaces and .,!?:;'"-+/=&(). Shared words replace all plate-word overrides; a plate’s own words change that plate alone. Words stay available when turned off.
Register the blue plate
0 steps across · 0 steps down. One step is 2 print units; each direction reaches 24 steps. All this plate’s words, ink shapes and openings move together.
The paper clips the impression at its edges. Source points remain on their plate, including parts shifted beyond the visible print.

Keep the print and its plates
One complete SVG
Keep the clean proof showing now, together with its editable words, shapes, openings, inks and paper. Custom-colour files also show the palette below the artwork. Names describe the artwork in the file; guides and point numbers stay out. Drafts and Undo history stay in this visit.
Continue a kept print
Choose a complete SVG kept from this stencil desk, up to 1 MiB. Review it first; reuse one plate’s drawn artwork or explicitly replace the whole print. Your current work stays until you apply a choice.
