WORK 92 / A SINGLE LOOP
A place
inside.
A few numbers.
One way round.
Join neighbouring dots to make one closed loop. Each number tells you how many of its four sides belong to the line. Leave a little space inside.
FOUR BY FOUR / FORTY GAPS
A first boundary
Rows of dots run 1–5 from top to bottom; columns A–E run left to right. Each gap is a native button: Tab to a gap, then Enter or Space to mark it. The entire board can be scrolled sideways on a small screen.
YOUR MARKINGS
Find the
boundary.
Draw a line. Choosing a line again clears it. X marks are optional notes and never count as lines.
Getting the boards ready…
Check is deliberate. Changing a marking clears the previous report; Undo can restore it along with its markings.
THE WHOLE TASK
One line.
All the way round.
Join dots only across the marked horizontal or vertical gaps. Make one closed loop with no open ends, branches or crossings. Dots you use must each have two lines meeting; other dots may be left alone.
A number says exactly how many of that cell’s four sides are selected. Zero means none. Blank cells have no side-count rule. An X is only a note that a gap is excluded; a finish does not require every unused gap to be crossed out.
Each board keeps its own markings, Check and up to 100 Undo/Redo steps during this visit. Redo restores an undone step; a real new change clears that Redo history. Start again clears only the chosen board as an undoable change. Edge marking is locked after a checked finish; use Undo, Redo or Start again to reconsider it. Reloading starts all four boards afresh.
