A LONG LUNCH / YOUR ROOM
Make room
for lunch.
Draw a place for Alma, Kit and their long bench.
Leave them enough room to turn.
Make, check and try a room here. Keep a complete HTML copy to take the same maker offline.
A bench is not a point.
Start and destination each need three straight floor squares: Alma at one end, Kit at the other. A turn swaps across and down around the centre; all nine squares in the centred 3 × 3 square must be floor, including its corners.
Matching the destination means matching its centre and direction. A route check uses these exact rules. It does not tell you whether a room is interesting or difficult.
Draw the floor.
Tap a square, or focus a square and use arrow keys to select; Enter or Space applies the tool once. Each changed square is one Undo. Large rooms scroll. # means wall; · means floor. S and G mark centres; small s and g show their other occupied squares.
The place and its words
Room size
3–24 columns and rows. Existing squares stay at the top left; new squares begin as walls. Review cropped squares and moved centres before applying.
Draw a place for the whole bench. Check it, then try the exact room yourself. Unfinished rooms can be kept too.
Keep a room for another day.
A complete playable maker
The HTML keeps this exact room, the game and the same editing desk. Unfinished rooms travel too. Open the file in a browser with JavaScript enabled, revise it, try it and deliberately keep another HTML file for later changes.
An editable room draft
JSON keeps the floor, walls, start, destination and words. It needs this maker to draw or play; it is not a standalone game.
Start from an original room
Choose one of Alma and Kit’s five rooms to review its complete floor plan, starting position, destination and words. Your drawing stays here until you choose Replace. One Undo brings it back.
Open a room draft
Choose one complete room JSON file, up to 64 KiB. Reading is local and review comes before replacement. Return to drawing and resolve any drafts first.
